  Couldn't be more unsatisfied with their service. Prepared our 2011 taxes because we had oil lease sign on money to claim and my wife paid all of her college tuition. I didn't want to take a chance of making a mistake since it appeared to be more than a simple 1040ez. The preparer fumbled her way through it and made claim that we would owe alot less taxes due to tuition. Well, here it is july 2013 and IRS is sending a letter stating we owe $2600 because no proof was provided for claimed education. Heres the problem. Jackson hewitt is only open for 4 hours one day a week. After 2 weeks of trying to get a hold of someone other than an answering machine were told " heres a letter for YOU to mail the IRS, hope it works", if not then you'll just have to pay them".. are you kidding me! We paid for your "professional tax service" only to get audited for YOUR mistake of not mailing tuition reciepts and be forced to fix it ourself! Seriously! I am so furious words cannot even express! God help anyone who uses this horrible service cause WHEN they screw you over, you are on your own to fight the IRS.
